11/11 is Polish Indpendence Day. It's actually pretty contractual date. Date of the end of the 1WW and the day when Józef Piłsudski 'was appointed Commander in Chief of Polish forces by the Regency Council and was entrusted with creating a national government for the newly independent country.'
We're very proud of this day 'coz after 123 of non-existing of polish country we finally were on a map! We haven't been dependent on Russia, Prussia (Germany) and Austria anymore. We were independent, and we will be forever
